I for one like these non-descript rubbishy PvP events. As much as I like the PvE events...when there is an event on, one feels the need to take advantage of it to it's fullest, usually promoting farming / grinding, call it what you will... (I am referring to weekends which drop extra items such as alcohol, sweets etc, or weekends which promise better things from chests). These rubbish PvP events give me a chance to spend the weekend without worrying about missing out on certain "festivities" etc... I think a big, popular weekend event every weekend is not a great thing.

Sure, some people will come back with the usual "Just don't attend the events if you don't want to"...but like I said...you feel as though you're not making the most out of something which is only around for a limited time. And a few weekends back when we had the special Faction weekend...I didn't spend all weekend faction farming, and I feel kinda like I missed out there, as I could have gone up a rank of the title...

GOGO Rubbishy PvP-based events

Maybe this is their " cover up way' to take a closer look into the manners in RA that ppl are currently addressing with syncers and leavers... give a whole weekend see what happens if they dont see that it affects players they ll allow it , if it does affect them ... find a way to ease there minds ...lol . yeah right we could only be so lucky to think theyd actually do a cover up weekend to look at and address a serious problem..lol nope just another half senseless weekend

*chuckles* Ah i wouldnt put it past them to being doing something like that ;P They have shown themselves to be quite quickly responsive at times.

Looking at this all objectively i would have to say that i'd expect experienced players to team up with others and play TA more over this weekend. They can have more fun and challenge and have the chance at a greater reward than normal.

Subjectively, i fear that these experienced players will choose to play RA more than TA this weekend, for the hope of getting easy matches without the same challenge... which in my book seems a bit cowardly. One could counter that by saying its 'smart'. Pov ftl

Personally i dont mind, as long as those experienced players choosing RA, do play it properly and dont rage quit/synch looking for a certain team and thus spoil it for the rest of those of us who dont choose to leave. If there are a lot of leavers, this weekend event will become very frustrating.

Its mind games in a way though..in terms of the experienced players seeking easier glad points... if many are going to RA..surely it would make more sense to play in TA for easier wins... :P
